Wm. Clarke Eldridge – Des Plaines
Clarke passed away October 20, 2016 in Arlington Heights, IL. Clarke was born June 8, 1932 in Chicago, IL. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Steinmetz High School, and Northwestern University. He was a member of Park Ridge Grenadiers Drum and Bugle Corp. and the NWACC.
Clarke is survived by his wife, of 63 years, June (Amerski) Eldridge, his daughter Susan Eldridge (Tim) Pettigrew, brothers Alfred (Wing See) Eldridge, Edward (Suzanne) Eldridge and his sister Catharine Eldridge. Son-in-laws Patrick (Susan) Adee and Patrick Dollard. He loved and enjoyed his Seven Grandchildren; Cheran (Jim) Wynstra, Evan Dollard, Ryan (Ali) Dollard, Clifford (Katie) Adee, Samuel (Jenny) Pettigrew, Sarah (Polo) Jaimes Pettigrew and Matthew Pettigrew; along with his 10 Great Grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. Proceeding Clarke in death are his parents, Edward Eldridge and Sarah Jones Eldridge and his daughters Rhonda Dollard and Cheryl Adee.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association 208 S. LaSalle St. Chicago, IL 60604.
Visitation will be at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect, IL on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 10 am.
The service is to follow at 11 am and the interment at Memory Gardens, Arlington Heights, IL at 12:15 pm
